Connexion Groups
There are several functioning small groups at CrossPoint. We call them Connexion Groups. These are weekly or bi-weekly meetings, mostly in people’s homes.
Often, people think that “church” ends when you walk out the door of a building Sunday morning. God never intended this to be the case. Connexion Groups allow for growth in a more personal environment. In these groups people find a place to be challenged to grow deeper.
Also, in community we have the opportunity to hear what others are learning. Meaningful friendships are formed when we make ourselves available to one another. These Connexion groups are just one way that we seek to realize what Church is supposed to be.
*A new small group on parenting will start in January 2012, hosted by Joe & Jessica Puperi. This will focus on discussing how we can teach our children at home. Spiritual growth should start at home and be fostered by the church. Too often we expect the church to be the sole source of such development for our family. Contact Joe, Jessica, or Pastor Jim if you are interested.
